New homes on land north of Common Hill
Welcome
Mac Mic Strategic Land would like the community’s thoughts on proposals for up to 315 new homes, alongside more than 12 hectares of public green space, on land north of Common Hill/Malmesbury Road (B4040).

The land north of Common Hill (outlined in red)
The proposal covers two areas of the land, separated by Stones Lane, though will constitute a single site for planning purposes. All new homes will be built in the larger, southern area directly north of the B4040 Common Hill, with the smaller, northern area reserved for green space and biodiversity. Our proposal lies next to the proposed Bloor Homes development, but is a separate standalone scheme.
We will be submitting an outline planning application to Wiltshire Council in due course. Please take a look around the website to find out more about our proposals, and click on the ‘Provide Your Feedback’ page to fill in a feedback form. We would be grateful to receive your feedback by 6pm on Sunday 1st March, 2026, when our consultation closes.
